The Red Clay Consolidated School District takes part in the National School Lunch Program/School Breakfast Program/After School Snack Program. Nutritious meals are served every school day. All meals served must meet nutrition standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Elementary students may buy lunch for $1.50 and breakfast for $0.75. Secondary students may buy lunch for $1.75 and breakfast for $0.90. You may prepay for school meals. Buy ten (10) meals and get (1) free at a cost of $15.00 for elementary and $17.50 for secondary students. Please make checks payable to Red Clay Nutrition Services.
Children from households that meet Federal Income guidelines are eligible for free meals or reduced price meals at $0.40 for lunch and $0.25 for breakfast. You may also prepay for reduced price meals. To apply for free or reduced price meals, complete and sign the Meal Benefit Form as soon as possible and return it to your child’s school.
Only complete one application per family. The information you give will be used to determine or prove your child's eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. This information may also be used for other state or federally funded school benefits.
